What forms of payment do you accept and do I need to leave a deposit?

We accept cash, direct deposit/transfer into our account, bank cheque (NO personal cheques accepted) or money order. Upon placing an order a 25% deposit is required.

Do you offer cake tastings?

Cake tastings are available upon request and differ from week to week. Please advise when booking an appointment if you require a tasting.

Do I have to refrigerate my cake?

Most of the cakes created at Cake Von Dee do not require refrigeration. However our continental sweets and dessert cakes do, you will be advised of this at your appointment.

Do you have a shop front and can I pop in at any time?

We do not have a retail shop front; however we do have a custom built showroom that is available to view upon an appointment. Most appointments are done from Sunday – Wednesday, please call or email to arrange a suitable time and day for your next appointment.

Do you deliver or do I pick up my cake?

Most cakes are picked up by the client; however we do provide a delivery service for a fee. Costing is calculated on distance to venue please call for an instant quote.

How much notice should I give for ordering a cake?

To avoid disappointment we recommend 8 weeks notice for wedding cakes and 4 weeks for all other cakes. We will try our very hardest to fit in all late orders as well.
